Listwa Latè-a Residency

With generous support from the Caribbean Culture Fund, Listwa Collective will host a talented Caribbean documentary filmmaker for a six-day residency in Saint Lucia. During their time on island, they will share techniques, skills and perspectives with early career Saint Lucian filmmakers, and screen their work for students and the wider public.

The activity is centered around creating an understanding of how the medium can be used as a means of creative advocacy around climate and environmental injustice - critical issues in the region at this time. The phrase ‘Listwa Latè-a' translates from Kwéyòl into English as ‘Earth Stories.’
