Meet the Team
Amanie Mathurin
Amanie Mathurin is a storyteller and researcher whose work takes root in the intersections of decolonial imagination, queer-feminism, and narrative justice. Her short stories have been featured in several international publications and she has also been long-listed for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize. Amanie holds an MSc in Media, Communication, and Development.

Janeka Simon
Janeka Simon is a Caribbean journalist who currently serves as editor of the Virgin Islands Consortium, a digital news platform. Her diverse background includes a story-led STEM education initiative and roles in commercial development, business strategy, and broadcast journalism.
Project Strategist
Doniyel Polius
Doniyel Polius is a long-time advocate for and lover of literature, particularly stories of and by Caribbean people. She was the head editor of an arts review published during the pandemic and plays a key role in the review, execution, and application of Listwa Collective's projects.

Nelcia Charlemagne
Nelcia Charlemagne is a communications professional with experience spanning print, broadcast, and digital beats, reporting, public relations, and social media. She is passionate about storytelling and spotlighting the people and events that shape the world around us.

Tresha Lionel
Tresha Lionel is a Saint Lucian Island Scholar, writer, and law graduate. She began her career in media as a reporter and recorded her first speaking-word documentary before becoming the host and co-producer of an interview series focused on social and political issues.
